The Beanie Baby Phenomenon by Peggy Gallagher, published in March 1997, was the first book published on Beanie Babies. The book was originally written for Internet collectors who needed a pictorial of retired and style-changed Ty Beanie Babies. This book is no longer published, and it is considered to be a collector’s item. Die-hard collectors consider The Beanie Baby Phenomenon to be an important part of the history of collecting Beanie Babies. This much-needed book provided new collectors with information that was not readily available from the merchants who sold Beanie Babies.

All Tyed Up by Peggy and Paula Abrinko is a magnificent 200+ page book on Ty products that is expected to be released before the end of 1998. Authors Peggy and Paula (who are sisters) are considered to be among the world’s most renowned experts on all things Ty. They were the first to bring to the public secondary market prices for Beanie Babies, as well as articles on the Internet about Ty Plush, Attic Collectibles, and Pillow Pals. Peggy has a regularly scheduled chat on WGN radio in Chicago once a month.

Beanie Mania Guidebook by Becky Phillips and Becky Estenssoro includes over 250 pages in a soft cover edition. This primer book includes photos of all the Beanie Babies and helpful articles on how to begin a collection and how to take care of a collection. Beanie Mania Guidebook includes an international flavor, with articles on collecting Beanie Babies in America, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Beanie Mania II, The Complete Collector’s Guide by Becky Phillips and Becky Estenssoro is the follow-up book to Beanie Mania Guidebook. It has new photos of all the Beanie Babies, with state-of-the-art digital photography. It includes a detailed review of important events that helped to shape the Beanie Baby market; an update of the popular Market Trends Analysis section; new advisory articles on buying, selling, trading, and taking care of Beanie Babies; more Beanie Baby manufacturing oddities and variations; an all new section on Beanie Baby subcollections; and much more. Beanie Mania II includes just about everything that anyone would want to know about Beanie Babies!

The Beanie Invasion, by Janie Daniels is not just another book full of Beanie Baby pictures. It includes personal, in-depth interviews of people from across the United States and Canada; retail store owners perspectives, McDonalds employees views of the Teeny Beanie Baby phenomenon, personal comments, games, activities, personal photographs, and more. There are over 175 pages of stories, interviews, and insights by Janie Daniels. Included are many interesting pictures relating to her stories.
