Get Up to Speed on Recent eBay Stores Enhancements by Artemisa
eBay Stores Marketing
I'd like to give you an update on some exciting new features we've added to eBay Stores that will help you promote and sell your eBay Stores items better than ever before. I'd also like to point out some helpful educational resources that will soon be added to the eBay Stores Resource Center.
Store categories expand to 300 categories
Now you can have up to 300 item categories in your eBay Store! We've also expanded the category navigation to enable you to create up to three levels of categories and sub-categories.
With this category expansion, you can create an extensive category structure in your eBay Store that is tailored to the kind of items you sell. You can also define your category structure based on your knowledge of how buyers browse your Store for products.
How you set up your categories is totally up to you. You could use your 300 categories to create all top-level categories, or you could create two or three levels of categories (for example, 30 top-level categories with 5 subcategories each). The possibilities are endless! Introducing the Custom Listing Frame
The Custom Listing Frame allows sellers to pull elements (such as their Store category list, Store Search box, etc) into all of your item description pages with only a few clicks. Three key elements of the Custom Listing Frame (shown in the picture) help you to promote your Store and its categories. These elements are:
-
Navigation “breadcrumb” (new!) – This makes it easier for buyers to navigate within your Store, to the various categories you're offering, as well as to your other listings.
- Custom Listing Header (existing) – This helps you to display your Store description and reinforce its branding on all your Store listings.
- Left Navigation Bar (new!) – All the categories in your Store are conveniently displayed on the left for your buyers to browse. They can quickly and easily access your Store items in other categories.
With the Custom Listing Frame, you can merchandise the entire breadth of items you carry, and also reinforce your Store's branding.
