Q: I am selling items that I have around the house, just to get rid of
the stuff. I would like to maybe start selling to make some money. I
have read so much on ebay that I am totally confused. Is there a
step-by-step guide on what I need to do to start selling more and make
some money on eBay?
You should start off by following some of the step-by-step guides and tutorials at the eBay Learning Center. In addition, you might want to consider taking an online course at One important task: If you have never purchased an item on eBay, you should do so before you start selling. Understanding the unique eBay marketplace through the eyes of a buyer will help you later when you begin selling. Finally, don't suffer from analysis paralysis! Too many future sellers tend to put off listing their first item on eBay until they become book experts (thus, they never actually get around to listing an item). Click the Sell link on the top of any eBay page and follow the steps for List An Item. Read all of the text on the pages and follow each example link. Even if you don't have something to sell at the moment, you will learn a lot more by working through the process then by reading about it. Regards, |
