What do cookware, clothes, and checking accounts all have in common? eBay member dannyzmom@aol.com knows the answer to that question!

dannyzmom@aol.com started out looking for cookware on eBay. Afterwards, she realized that she could sell some of her own cookware that she was no longer using. She also realized that if she didn't start selling some of her own belongings, she would eventually run out of two things: space and money! She happily admits that she's been hooked on eBay ever since.

dannyzmom@aol.com now buys and sells mainly infants & children's clothing, but also some women's and men's clothing. When listing items for sale on eBay, she tells us that she always tries to be as descriptive as possible in her listings. dannyzmom@aol.com describes the reasoning behind this strategy: "Personally, the more I know about an item before placing a bid, the more comfortable I am placing that bid."

We asked her what changes she thought eBay had brought about in her life. "Having my own little income makes me feel good about myself as I am able to make a financial contribution to our family."

dannyzmom@aol.com also told us that she believes her bidders feel confident buying from her, because she has so many happy customers and dozens of repeat customers. She also says that sellers are pleased to see that, as a buyer, she always pay on time.

When we asked her what tips she would give to people out there who are selling or buying their items, she replied, "To sellers...be as descriptive as possible. To buyers...read everything and if you have any questions - ask first, bid later!"

dannyzmom@aol.com admits she visits eBay every chance she gets!

"I keep the computer on all day and pull up my eBay page every time I walk past the computer desk!"

Her most unique item she ever sold was a set of 12 vintage mini-bundt pans that sold for $39. When she realized the amount the pans sold for, she readily admits, "I was shocked!!!"

When we asked her to give us a brief description of what eBay meant to her, she said, "Addiction...obsession...I can't say much else--I have to go check my auctions!"
