Scrabble Junior

Scrabble Jr. is a fun game for kids ages five and up. Unlike the traditional version of Scrabble, Scrabble Jr. lets kids match up their letters with picture words. Instead of having to come up with words in the abstract, therefore, kids develop a sense of how language and words get formed. All told, the Scrabble Jr. set comes with more than 100 different letters.

Scrabble Jr. features a simple scoring system, which kids can learn in an instant. As they develop their crossword solving skills, they may want to move up to regular Scrabble. This game not only helps with concentration and verbal skills, but it also teaches sportsmanship. Scrabble Jr. can only be won by one person--win or lose, however, this game is a guaranteed blast.
