Furbies can also speak with other Furbies in both the English language and their own special dialect. The 2005 Furby loves to sing songs, tell stories and jokes, and receive loving pets. You can also "feed" Furby.

With advanced voice recognition technology, Furby displays very realistic emotions. This amazing technology is what Hasbro calls "emototronics." Young children love Furby's responsiveness, and the seemingly magical technology which makes Furby go fascinates adults. The 2005 Furby suffers from fewer technological glitches than his earlier brethren did.
