1) What is a virtual antique mall?

It's the online storefront for an antique mall owner who operates an antique mall in the real world. These diverse malls are brought together on eBay's Antique Mall Directory page, providing antique lovers with a central marketplace from which to shop at antique malls from all around the world!

2) How do I buy?

Shopping at the Antique Mall Directory works exactly like the rest of eBay:
1. First, just register with eBay. It's quick and it's free!
2. Next, find a mall you like in the Virtual Antique Mall Directory. Click on its name, and browse through its merchandise.
3. When you find something you want, click on the item number to get to the bid page.
4. Once on the bid page, scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the bidding area. Enter the amount of your bid, and click the "review bid" button.
5. Carefully look over what you're bidding on, enter your User ID and password and then click the "place bid" button. Bidding is now complete and you're off to the races!
6. As you wait for the auction to close (this is usually several days), you'll receive a daily email telling you if you're the high bidder or if you've been outbid by another eBay member. However, you can always come back to the Virtual Antique Mall storefront and check out the item to see how things are going.
7. Going, going, gone! When the auction closes, if you are the high bidder, you must email the seller within three business days to claim your item. Congratulations-you're a winner!

3) How do I sell?

There are two main requirements for becoming a participating seller:

• You must own an antique mall in the real world.
• You must commit a minimum level of merchandise per week.
