      News Since staying informed is important to the Community's success, eBay offers several news and educational resources to help members get the information they need. Updated daily, the General Announcement Board provides official updates on new eBay features, category changes, policy updates, and more. Another important source of information, The Chatter includes feature stories and monthly columns that inspire, educate, and entertain the eBay Community.

      Discussions Discussion boards and chat rooms on eBay help members share interests, discuss issues, and assist others. Member-to-member interactions take place at the Answer Center, without any moderation from eBay.

      Events Interactive Online Workshops and events hosted by eBay staff and expert members are available to all registered members. Topics cover a wide range of subjects, from how to use a new feature or create a perfect listing, to how to find an item in a particular category, like antiques or computers. The Event List profiles upcoming online and offline events. eBay also helps members gain awareness about charitable causes through the Giving Works program.

      People eBay Groups provides tools such as announcements, discussion boards, calendars, and photo albums for members who share common interests to build relationships with one another. With eBay Groups, members can establish their own public or private communities. Special Mentoring Groups are now offered for new members who want individualized help getting started on either buying or selling from an experienced eBay member. The Member Spotlight regularly highlights the experiences of featured members.
