When you purchase your Service Plan, you will be able to select either a "Standard Service Plan" or an "Extended Service Plan" depending on whether or not your product comes with an existing Service Plan:
- Standard Service Plan
Purchase a "Standard Service Plan" if your product does not come with an existing manufacturer or seller's Service Plan. Your one-year N.E.W. Service Plan coverage will begin 30 days after the end date of your eBay auction or your Buy It Now date.
- Extended Service Plan
Purchase an "Extended Service Plan" if your product comes with a manufacturer or seller's Service Plan. You can extend a 90-day, 6-month, or 1-year manufacturer or seller's Service Plan.
To determine if your product comes with a Service Plan and if yes, the duration of the Service Plan, read the item description or ask your seller.
Note that due to state regulations, Service Plans are not available for sale or purchase in Maine, Alaska, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

- Enter your eBay item number. The Service Plan price will be calculated and presented to you.
- Pay via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover) and N.E.W. will provide you with information on how to file a claim if you ever need to.
Before you purchase a Service Plan, you'll want to make sure that you've first won and purchased the product that you're interested in getting a Service Plan for and that the product is eligible for coverage.
Note that you have 30 days from time your transaction closes on eBay to purchase an accompanying Service Plan. Also, due to state regulations, Service Plans are not available for sale or purchase in Maine, Alaska, Guam, and Puerto Rico.
